5th June as declared by UNEP is the World Environment day. Children of primary and pre-primary section celebrated Green Day on 26th June, 2015 as part of the environment awareness programme organised in the school. A small skit on the importance of planting tress and the need to save water for the future was put up by the students of class 3 for all the classes from pre-primary to class 4. Children came to school wearing accessories in the color of green like hairband, ribbons, caps, tee shirts, etc. Some children also came dressed to school in tee shirts using different shades of green. Children brought their snacks made with leafy or green vegetables.
It was an enriching and healthy experience for them.
